Misdiagnosis

Mom was misdiagnosed, she does not have ovarian cancer. The cancer she has is Poorly Differentiated Neuroendocrine. Dr. Soisson originally thought Mom had ovarian cancer but the pathology report came back as Poorly Differentiated Neuroendocrine Tumors.

We are still praying for a miracle for Mom and we have witnessed the many tender mercies of the Lord. We are grateful for the small miracles we have been blessed with as a family. We also know it is not in our hands.

  1. I just found out today about all that you are going through, Sister Cook. I am thankful for knowing about this and for the blog. Thank you to your family.

I want you to know...that you are one of my most favorite people in the world and one who made such a difference in my life. I truly love you! As I have taught in YW, I could only hope and try to be as wonderful as you! You were so much fun and spiritual and uplifting too. I have so many great memories with you and the handouts from lessons still to go with them. I am so heart broken today to see the pain you are going through and the fight you are in.

I too will be praying for your family. I have always thought the world of all of you!

  2. Chris,
Just wanted you to know that we love you and are praying for you. You are such a sweet spirit. Liz is always telling me she might just go live with sister cook if I don't be nice to her. You make everyone feel so important and special. Me and Liz love you very much.

  3. Kristi, I have been trying to find out more about this cancer. Is there an unknown origin or a known? Can you tell us a little more about the cancer and its treatment? Thank you. I know this misdiagnosis was so difficult to hear. We are also praying for a miracle.

  4. Kristi,

I don't know if you remember me but I remember you, your brother and your parents. I am Julie Higgins Barta from Farmington. My sister is Debbie Higgins Hartman and she is the one that informed of your Mom. I will hope the best for you, your family and especially your Mother. I would love to hear more from you when you get a chance. I am on facebook under the name listed exactly like that. Take care!

  6. What a shock to read all you have been going through, Chris. Reading this blog and all the comments is a faithbuilding example to all of us. You and Jack and Jeanne are some of the people we have really missed after leaving Farmington. We will be praying for your continuing progress and for your family.
